New Week, New Start.

Dear dudes and dudettes,

Another week has come and gone by me. Started my new job with The Nielsen Company on Tuesday. How was my first week? Well, it’s a bit too early to tell as I have not begun my training yet. So until I hit the dirt running, I can’t say for sure how life in here is going to be. But so far my colleagues have been friendly towards me. Well, as long as they aint hostile thats good enough for me, hahaha…

Last weekend, I went to Penang with my mother and sister. It reminded me of my trip with my friends a year and a half ago. Ok, for a quick trip down memory lane, and fort hose who don’t know how it was like :

We stayed in the same apartments this time; though not same unit lar… or else it will be too eerily similar. Nonetheless, this time it is different. I drove this time around. And after driving there myself, I can tell you that some of the Penang island drivers are a bit nuts. I visited almost the same places I went that time. Of course this time around we went to Gurney Plaza to catch Iron Man as we didn’t have anything to do at night anyway. Food in Penang was as usual, not that great after all but we always had this faith that someday we will find hawker fare Nirvana somewhere on this island.

It was a good trip, much slower, less places visited, but a getaway nonetheless. It left me a little drained for the next day at work, but what the heck. Next place I wanna go is Camerons or Maxwell Hill in taiping.

Anyways, its getting late now.
