Reading the local news for the past 2 weeks have been a bit depressing, regardless of course (newspaper, online and etc).
There has been a huge fuss about APCO (APCO is a worldwide consultancy firm; supposedly hired by Najib to do some public campaigns for him, including the 1 Malaysia project). The supposedly can of worms was opened by the Opposition in Parliament and until today the matter still has not been settled?
I honestly dont know why the Opposition brought this matter up. So what if they have Israeli ties? So what is Israel also came up with a 1 Israel theme? Big deal! Tolkien came up with the "1 Ring" (1 ring to rule them all!! ;-p) theme ages ago, if you guys didn't watch Lord of The Rings or read the book!!
I just want to believe that the Government wants to improve ties among races (regardless of what some idiotic UMNO men are declaring in public). Undermining the theme or effort is not helping the issue. I'd rather you offer suggestions than mud slinging. So what if you are right about APCO and Israelis??
Honestly, so what is some company that helped maintain the police systems in Bukit Aman are related to Israelis?? Do you think they even care about us? Dude, they have the backing of the United States! Why would they even bother about us? Its not like we have any intelligence in Bukit Aman (pun definitely intended!)
Look at the latest news here, where it says this issue disrupted the Parliamentary session today.
Do you even think discussing this is of any interest to us citizens? We did not appoint you guys, our MPs, regardless of parties, to defame each other. Debate on things that are of our interest!

I get that the Opposition wants to undermine UMNO so that it loses its hardcore fanbase in rural Malaysia, but then again, do that when the next General Election comes. Right now, you guys have an economy to fix.
Well anyways, a short rant from me today. Man Utd's playing the 2nd leg tonight against Bayern, gotta catch them :-)
