Terrified
Finally paid attention to this catchy song and now I absolutely love this song!!
Sounds so lovey dovey...
I'm a man in love...
...with this song ;-p
The song is originally sung by American Idol judge, Kara Dioguardi, but I prefer this version where Katherine McPhee duets with Zachary Levi (of Chuck fame). Enjoy!!
You by the light is the greatest find
In a world full wrong you're the thing that's right
Finally made it through the lonely to the other side
You said it again, my heart's in motion
Every word feels like a shooting star
I'm at the edge of my emotions
Watching the shadows burning in the dark
And I'm in love and I'm terrified
For the first time in the last time in my only life
This could be good, it's already better than last
And love is worse than knowing you're holding back
I could be all that you needed if you let me try
You said it again my hearts in motion
Every word feels like a shooting star
I'm at the edge of my emotions
Watching the shadows burning in the dark
And I'm in love and I'm terrified
For the first time in the last time in my only
I only said it 'cause I mean it, I only mean 'cause it's true
So don't you doubt what I've been dreaming
'Cause it fills me up and holds me close whenever I'm without you
You said it again my hearts in motion
Every word feels like a shooting star
Watching the shadows burning in the dark
And I'm in love and I'm terrified
For the first time in the last time in my only life
XOXO

Teenage Dreams
These song has been almost overplayed on radio, but it was only recently that I paid attention to the song. I feel that this song is telling us to remember how it feels to be in love when we are much younger. When everything seemed so easy and innocent...
Ah... those were the days. If only I could find a person who makes me feel that way again...
Enjoy the song!!
You think I'm pretty
Without any make-up on
You think I'm funny
When I tell the puch line wrong
I know you get me
So I'll let my walls come down, down
Before you met me
I was a wreck
But things were kinda heavy
You brought me to life
Now every February
You'll be my valentine, valentine
Let's go all the way tonight
No regrets, just love
We can dance until we die
You and I
We'll be young forever
You make me
Feel like
I'm living a Teenage Dream
The way you turn me on
I can't sleep
Let's runaway
And don't ever look back
Don't ever look back
My heart stops
When you look at me
Just one touch
Now baby I believe
This is real
So take a chance
And don't ever look back
Don't ever look back
We drove to Cali
And got drunk on the beach
Got a motel and
Built a fort out of sheets
I finally found you
My missing puzzle piece
I'm complete
Let's go all the way tonight
No regrets, just love
We can dance until we die
You and I
We'll be young forever
You make me
Feel like
I'm living a Teenage Dream
The way you turn me on
I can't sleep
Let's runaway
And don't ever look back
Don't ever look back
My heart stops
When you look at me
Just one touch
Now baby I believe
This is real
So take a chance
And don't ever look back
Don't ever look back
I might get your heart racing
In my skin-tight jeans
Be your teenage dream tonight
Let you put your hands on me
In my skin-tight jeans
Be your teenage dream tonight
You make me
Feel like
I'm living a Teenage Dream
The way you turn me on
I can't sleep
Let's runaway
And don't ever look back
Don't ever look back
My heart stops
When you look at me
Just one touch
Now baby I believe
This is real
So take a chance

My Travel Report for 6D5N in Macau / Hong Kong *Day 1*
Day 1: Arriving in Macau
After coming out of the airport, we were looking for free shuttle buses to take us from Cotai to the Macau Peninsular. Unfortunately, there weren't any buses, so we just hopped on the Venetian's Shuttle bus. We ended up there and spent about half an hour before taking another of its free shuttle bus to its sister casino in the Peninsular, Macau Sands. From Sands, we took a cab to the hotel my friend booked.
Checked into hotel Ole London, which my friends booked and tumpang-ed my bag there.
Headed out to look for lunch in the neighbouring streets. Walked past Rua De Felicidade (Happiness Street) to have the famous Crab Roe Noodles. The prawn wantons here are huge compared to Malaysia!
After a filling lunch, we went to Senado Square (which was about 300m away) for the sights of this famous place. There are a few historical buildings around this famous square. It is also one of the main shopping areas in Macau. If possible, do pop by here at night for the lights
Walked towards St Paul's Church Ruins, the Iconic place in Macau. Visited the museum there as well. It drizzled while we were there, but thankfully, only for awhile. Its a postcard picture for every tourist in Macau!
The sun came back out after the short drizzle. Next, right beside the ruins is Forteleza de Monte. We made the slow walk uphill in the humid, steamy weather. By the time we reached the peak, most of us were drenched in sweat! However, we were rewarded with a good view of the entire Macau Peninsular
We rested for about 30-40 mintues at the top of the fort as it was very breezy. The top of the fort provided us with great views of this small city state. We could see all around the Macau Peninsula. We went toward St Augustine's Square, which gave us a moment of peace, despite being only 200m from Senado Square. From the top of the fort, it was an easy walk back downhill but it was against the direction which we were going as we had to walk back past the ruins and the Senado square.
As I've mentioned earlier, this square is not well known, hence there arent any visitors that were hanging around this place. Like Senado, this square is also full of heritage buildings, but no tourists! It was great to just wander around this square and take our own sweet time. Rare for a small country like Macau.
From there, we slowly made our way to Sands Casino (about 30 mins walk) and hopped into the Venetian shuttle bus. We went for tea time and dinner at a small town just outside the Venetian. Walked back and hung around the place for some night shots. The outside of the Venetian is very average. However, the interior is wonderful!! Ceiling paintings, mock up of the Venice canal, and nice environment. Its huge! We didnt stay long as we wanted to see the Casinos at the Peninsula Side as well.
Hopped on the free shuttle back to the Ferry terminal, then we changed into a shuttle that was headed towards Casino Lisboa. We took pictures of Casino Lisboa and the other casinos along this old Strip. The lights were mesmerising from all the casinos around that area.
The rest decided to have supper at Senado while i Had to go back to the hotel to grab my bags.
I took a cab towards the ferry terminal and bought myself a ticket to HK island (Costs me HKD 170). Reached HK (the ferry ride is about an hour) at about 11.45pm and SQS met me at the ferry terminal.
We then took a cab back and I took a shower after a long tiring day of walking. Knocked out at about 3am.

Air tidak boleh dicincang
Well, this is a short post, which I am dedicating to my sister, Kristine.
She'll be leaving for Wales tomorrow night to complete her final year of studies as an undergraduate. Time flies!!
sorry I won't be able to send her off, as I'm in Hong Kong now. But, with the advancments in technology, we are only a skype call away :-)
I'm sure we both love each other a lot although we won't say it out loud in public. We may complain about each other all the time, but I am proud of her, deep inside my heart. Hehehe
She won't cry when she reads this, but it means a lot for me to post it up here, cause she's been in my life for 21 years. Thats more than 3/4 of my life.
I've taken care of you for as long as I could. Now its your turn to spread your own wings, fly!
A song for you tonight,
May the angels protect you
Trouble neglect you
And heaven accept you when it's time to go home
May you always have plenty
Your glass never empty
Know in your belly
You're never alone
May your tears come from laughing
You find friends worth having
With every year passing
They mean more than gold
May you win but stay humble
Smile more than grumble
And know when you stumble
You're never alone
Never alone
Never alone
I'll be in every beat of your heart
When you face the unknown
Wherever you fly
This isn't goodbye
My love will follow you stay with you
Baby you're never alone
Well, I have to be honest
As much as I want it
I'm not gonna promise the cold winds won't blow
So when hard times have found you
And your fear surround you
Wrap my love around you
You're never alone
Never alone
Never alone
I'll be in every beat of your heart
When you face the unknown
Wherever you fly
This isn't goodbye
My love will follow you stay with you
Baby you're never alone
May the angels protect you
Trouble neglect you
And heaven accept you when it's time to go home
And when hard times have found you
And your fear surround you
Wrap my love around you

Baby you're never alone
My love will follow you stay with you
Baby you're never alone
Your brother and your family will always be there for you.

I'll Stand By You
Heard this classic love long on radio on the way back home earlier.
Performed by The Pretenders. Also covered by Carrie Underwood and most recently, the cast of Glee
This song is dedicated to my fellow friends and loved ones. If I make this promise to you, I'll stand by it.
Oh, why you look so sad?
Tears are in your eyes
Come on and come to me now
Don't be ashamed to cry
Let me see you through
'cause I've seen the dark side too
When the night falls on you
You don't know what to do
Nothing you confess
Could make me love you less
I'll stand by you
I'll stand by you
Won't let nobody hurt you
I'll stand by you
So if you're mad, get mad
Don't hold it all inside
Come on and talk to me now
Hey, what you got to hide?
I get angry too
Well I'm a lot like you
When you're standing at the crossroads
And don't know which path to choose
Let me come along
'cause even if you're wrong
I'll stand by you
I'll stand by you
Won't let nobody hurt you
I'll stand by you
Take me in, into your darkest hour
And I'll never desert you
I'll stand by you
And when...
When the night falls on you, baby
You're feeling all alone
You won't be on your own
I'll stand by you
I'll stand by you
Won't let nobody hurt you
I'll stand by you
Take me in, into your darkest hour
And I'll never desert you
I'll stand by you
I'll stand by you
Won't let nobody hurt you
I'll stand by you
Won't let nobody hurt you
I'll stand by you
=)
