Emails I get from my friends
In the email i received its just the Malay version. But i'm throwing in an extra bonus. I had this essay translated using Google translator =)
Can your STD 6 BM Karangan beat this?
Pagi itu pagi minggu. Cuaca cukup sejuk sehingga mencapai takat suhu beku.
Dia melanggar emak saya. Emak saya tercampak ke dalam gaung. Dia menjerit "Adoi!".

Now for the English version, as translated by Google
Am the morning the week. Weather cold enough to reach freezing point temperature. So I do not shower in the morning because the pits so the water ice and water pipes do not want to leave because of frozen pipes in the... See more trunk. That morning I breakfasted with the family at the bonfire did not hold the cold. After that my mother asked me to accompany him to the market. But I do not want.
After my mother stabbed my stomach repeatedly with a fork then I agreed to accordingly. We walked as far as the market is 120 kilometers located 128 kilometers from home. Another eight kilometers to the market like I saw a truck container with a speed rush from the rear.
He violates my mother. My mother was thrown into the canyon. He shouted "Adoi!". Then my mother and pick up the chase truck. I have also ran behind my mother for fear that my mother is violating trucks. Truck driver saw us chase. He sped over the speed that is equal to the speed of light. We had to catch up with more speed that is equal to twice the speed of light. My mother can menerajang front wheels of the lorry. Chevrolet trucks and violating the median and collided with a ferry. Ferry is split up in two.
Passenger ferry which a total of 100 all died. The ferry was very angry. He turned into Ultraman and memfire truck driver. Truck driver pressing a special button in his truck .. truck is transformed into the robot Transformer. They fight in the air. My mother is not satisfied. He! continues to rent a helicopter in Genting Highlands, and continue to the scene of the accident. He violates the ferry driver turns the Ultraman.
The ferry was shocked and continued to turn the ferry and the driver crashed into the road. The ferry was broken. Truck drivers are afraid to see the incident. He asked forgiveness from my mother. He reaches out to greet. But my mother was still angry. He cut off the hands of tilting helikopternya and truck drivers with helicopter propellers. The lorry driver was shouting "Adoi ..!" and fell to the ground. My mother say to send helicopters to the Genting Highlands. When he returned to the scene, he continued to hit the driver with his hand bag as angry with the driver of the lorry in the English language.
The lorry driver was unable to answer because my mother told white people. Then the truck driver dead. Not long after the police car already arrived. He made the report to the headquarters of the horrific accident. All police officers in the police office was shocked and died. Members of the public around the scene and wanted to know what happened. Police on duty tried to disperse the people and he shouted with loud voice. The public was shocked and all died.
After that my mother asked me to market to prevent more people will die. In the market, my mother told the incident to the butcher. Butchers and traders close to the hear the story are all shocked and died. I and my mother continued to run back into the house. Because they are too tired once we arrived at the house of death. That's the most horrific accident I have ever seen before I die.

B O O D Y B L O G: FIFA World Cup 2010 : My Prediction for Round of 16 #4
The Brazil vs Chile game was easy to predict as well. Nothing too challenging for the Brazillian team. They will definitely face a stiffer test against the Dutch next round.
TOnight's games:
Paraguay vs Japan
Paraguay emerged as surprise group winners but the truly deserved their place with good attacking football. However, they do not have the goals to show for it. Same can be said with Japan. They were not expected to do well as they lost form just before the World Cup, but they played some enterprising football for the past 2 weeks. They have great set piece takers and Paraguay should not concede fouls near the penalty box.
While I truly hope for Japan to go thru, i think Paraguay has the firepower to beat the Japanese. This match might go to extra time with Paraguayans edging this by a goal. 1-0 or 2-1
Spain vs Portugal
Match of the Knockout round. Also match of the tournament so far. Since the Portugal vs Brazil match was a farce to watch. THis should be good for neutral fans as it is the knockout rounds. 2 attacking minded teams with lots to prove. Europeans Champs Sapin will now try to live up to their favourite tags in this game while Portuguese does not want to go home so early, not by losing to their neighbours.
I expect a freeflowing football from both sides and hopefully goals galore. Hopefully Torres will find his goal scoring form in this game. This game is too difficult to predict as I think both teams are evenly matched on their day.
2-1 to Spain or 4-2.

FIFA World Cup 2010 : My Prediction for Round of 16 #3
The England game was a shocker. Some people have claimed that it is no surprise since England has not played well at all in the World Cup. While I know that to be a fact, I was surprised at how naïve the English players were. They were caught on the counter attack numerous times and 3 of the goals they conceded were from counter attacks.
I get that you must chase the game when you are a goal or 2 down, but that doesn’t mean that the other team will just sit back all the time and wait for wave and waves of attacks to come in. The defence literally went to sleep when England were attacking. Kudos to Germany though, they played precision, sharp and quick football. Much like German technology ;-p
On to tonight’s match predictions!
Brazil vs Chile
Brazil have beaten Chile in the previous 2 meetings. Both are good attacking teams but I feel that Brazil would have fresher players after resting several players in their last group game against Portugal.
Robinho, Elano, Kaka all will return to the team tonight and I think that Brazil will have too much for Chile to handle. While Brazil have not been the best defensive team, Dunga has so far been able to keep it tight at the back. Chile will have to work really hard tonight just to break the Brazillian defence.
Brazil to win this by 2 goals. 2-0 or 3-1
Holland vs Slovakia
The Slovakians are the surprise package from the team which consisted of Paraguay and Italy. They comfortably beat the very poor Italians 3-2 in the final game to qualify for this round. While they look dangerous and and a high work rate, I don’t think they can overcome the Dutch.
The Dutch emerged from their group with a perfect record of 3 wins and I see them extending their run in this game. They are a very good attacking side and have not conceded a goal in 3 games. Robben is fit to play although I think they want to protect him and call upon him only when they need him.
Holland to win this by 2 goals as well, but game may go to extra time. 2-0, 3-1

Observations during the World Cup 2010
Its a once in 4 years thing where even non fans and most importantly women, suddenly become football fans. No doubt, this is a great way to break ice among strangers. Just talking about football and easily the conversations will get going. There has not been abetter time to get to know a person better than using the World Cup as a starting point.
It is also the time when people of all ages and races unites at restaurants, cafes, pubs, bars, to watch football. We share our joys and grief together. It is definitely a true 1 Malaysian spirit that our politicians aim to achieve.
ANother thing that I've noticed is the amount of "coffee shop talk".
Well this obviously stems from the above ice breaking conversations made lah.
Suddenly every1, regardless of whether they have ever kicked a ball in their life, to transform into a football pundit. They can tell you the formation, the tactics, who is on form and etc.
But the funny part is that sometimes these people are jsut trying to makes sense to themselves. When you've played football before, you would understand the basics and that it is definitely not an easy game to play. Cursing other for being losy when one has never kicked a ball in their life is a big no-no for me.
Well, actually i've been guilty of playing the role of football pundit myself, but hey, i've played the game for many and still do. I also follow the game quite closely, so in total i've played football for about 15 years now. I won't say I'm a great pundit like those we see on ESPN, but hey, I do understand the concepts lah~~~
What I even hate most during this time is people who gamble and curse everytime the team he or she backs misses a glorious chance. YOu will hear them curse non stop. Dude, if you wanna gamble, you gotta be preprared to lose. And please, if you don't love the game there is no need for you to show disrespect to the other people who love to watch football on its own. Football is already a great sport, there is no need for gamblers like you to exist. Your sad pathetic excuse that gambling makes football exciting is outdated and dumb. its obvious that you do not enjoy football, and do not enjoy how much goes on on the field. People only gamble in football esp. during the World Cup types are ppl who just dont wanna feel left out in the enthusiasm of the game. To make them feel more enthusiastic than the average fan, they gamble. That way they feel the "kan cheong"ness of every moment in the game. Utter rubbish!
There are also a huge amount of sleepy workers turning up at the office every morning, no thanks to the world cup. This only happens once in 4 years and it is quite funny to hear the sleepy colleagues talk about the game they stayed up to watch in the wee hours of the morning.
Oh, World Cup is also a time when we football fan do not have to suffer from the dreaded football withdrawal syndrome everytime the European leagues season ends. With the World cup, we only get like a months break from football =)
ANyways, those are my observations so far. Might add to the list as i think about it.

I Should Have Known Better - She and Him
Its just a simple song about how a person has fallen in love with girl, simply because the girl loves to be herself and is not pretentious. He then asks for her to return his affections...
I should have known better with a girl like you
That I would love everything that you do
And I do, hey, hey, hey, and I do.
Whoa, whoa, I never realized what a kiss could be
This could only happen to me;
Can't you see, can't you see?
That when I tell you that I love you, oh,
You're gonna say you love me too, hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo, oh,
And when I ask you to be mine,
You're gonna say you love me too.
So, I should have realized a lot of things before
If this is love you've gotta give me more
Give me more, hey hey hey, give me more
Whoa, whoa, I never realized what a kiss could be
This could only happen to me
Can't you see, can't you see?
That when I tell you that I love you, oh
You're gonna say you love me too, oh
And when I ask you to be mine,
You're gonna say you love me too,
You love me too
You love me too
You love me too

Value of Honorific Titles in Malaysia
**The above is a picture of the Sultan of Brunei handing out an award to an unknown recipient**
Scenes like the one above is very common in Malaysia. Sultans of Malaysian states give out Honorific titles on their birthday to people he deems to have served the country / state / His Majesty's cause / making the country proud. Now as far as I know, there is no properly outlined criteria for how these people get their titles. It is generally very vague and up to the His Highness's decision.
He can give and take back the titles as he sees fit.
If you need an example to see has been the casualty of having their titles taken back, look no further than our former MCA man, Chua Jui Meng (pardon the lack of Datuk; already taken back mah...).
Not much reason was given as to why his was taken back, except that the Sultan of Johor see it fit.
Back to the main point I was trying to make. I do feel that our esteemed Sultans are giving away too many titles. Seeing yesterdays news that the Sultan of Pahang giving out 164 awards on His Majesty's Birthday leaves me a bit uneasy (click on the link to read the news).
If my memory serves me right, 10 states out of the 14 in Malaysia has Rulers that can bestow titles upon outstanding individuals. Now if each of them gives out at least 50 titles a year,t hat works out to be 500 individuals with a minimum of a Datukship a year. In 10 years, we'd have 5000 all over the streest of Malaysia.
In my opinion, I think by then (in fact by now) the value of a honorific title will diminish. In fact there are several unsavoury characters that still hold these titltes despite being found guilty of immoral / illegal acts. Hence that is why there is a negative public perception regarding Datuks. Most will assume them to be power grabbing rich people, who are above every1 else. In fact some of them actually think they are much better than us regular citizens. They will make it a point that ordinary people like us are 2nd class citizens and should be segregated.
In the end, I believe that these titles should be given out sparingly. I would hope that it would be akin to the one given out by the Queen of United kingdom, where not many people will receive knighthoods (which carries the title Sir). That way, people will respect the achievement of the person which carries such a title as it is very difficult to achieve. Either that, or we should totallys crap this "caste" style honorific system. Every1 is equal, whether you are rich or poor, smart or other wise.
We are born equal, and as such, we deserve the same treatment and cannot be treated as second class citizens. If the only use of these titles are for lisuse and malpractice, I believe we should scrap it. It is supposed to be used as a recognition for outstanding service, and I still believe it should be so.
I do hope by the time i receive a Datukship, it is still something that the society looks up upon. =)

FIFA World Cup 2010 : My Prediction for Round of 16 #2
I was quite impressed by South Korea's determination last night. Of course, based on the game we saw, neither team deserved to lose, but thats how football works. the Koreans have nothing to be ashamed of, they played really well and if they continue to progress in terms of football development, it won't be a surprise if they go further in the next World Cup.
I expected an American victory last night, but it went in to extra time and the Americans lost concentration right after the kick off whistle. It's a shame but Ghana has worked hard and will now face the in form Uruguay in the quarter finals.
My predictions for tonight:
England vs Germany
A fierce rivalry in football that streteches back to at least half a century ago. I'm not sure if the football is going to be as good as the intense rivalry among supporter. Germany has had a start-stop campaign so far while England only managed to squeeze into the round of 16 by the skin of thier teeth.
Crashing out at this stage will be considered a failure for either team, so victory is a must. I do have a feeling that this game will go into extra time. England has great individual players while Germans have exceptional teamwork and work rate. If it oes to penalties I'd favour Germany as Englad still has a poor record at this stage.
England to win this 3-2, or 2-1. Penalties will be Germany.
Argentina vs Mexico
2 good attacking teams will play each other tonight. Both are in goalscoring form and at the same time, both are not known for their defensive abilities. I really hope that this game will be a high scoring game, for the sake of the viewers and me as well. This could be the match of the tournament so far if both throw caution to the wind. The edge of course lies with Argentina, who have a host of attacking talent. Any football club would dream of having their line up.
Argentina to win this by 2 goals. 3-1 or 4-2

FIFA World Cup 2010 : My Prediction for Round of 16 #1
Uruguay vs South Korea
Both have ultra fit squads but i do believe that the Uruguayans hold the edge in terms of technique and flair. Koreans are more hardworking but I dont think they have enough creativity to beat Uruguayans. Forlan to play a big part in this match. I do feel that there is a huge chance this game could be going into extra time tonight.
I think Uruguay will win this by the odd goal. 1-0(Full time) or 2-1(After Extra Time).
USA vs Ghana
Ghana have not played exceptionally well, but did enough just to qualify to this round. The Americans, however, have played really well so far in the tournament. They have looked dangerous as well as looked very fit, scoring tonnes of late goals.
I favour the Americans to go through if they continue to play the way they did. Landon Donovan is in fine form, looking dangerous, as well as Clint Dempsey.
Americans to win this 1-0 or 2-0

Compensation
I'm talking about human behaviour. I'm not sure how many of you remember the first Shrek movie. After Shrek rescues the princess locked up in the tower, she asks Shrek how does Lord Farquaad looks like. Shrek and Donkey then makes fun of Lord Farquaad's height and size.
Now in the movie, Lord Farquaad does try to percevie himself as overly powerful and wants to give the impression that he is the boss, the biggest authority in the land. And this despite his small size. Here, Lord Farquaad hides hides imperfection, his flaw of being short and small, by trying to be all powerful and dictatorial in the way he rules his kingdom. He wants to be larger than life.
If we try to put this into the real world situation, we humans behave the same way.
We will always find ways to compensate something that is missing in us or our flaws. Yes, it is a form of insecutiry, but most people will never acknowledge it. Of course they won't acknowledge they are trying to compensate for it. That would be equivalent of admitting they they have a flaw.
Some people who always wished they played professional golf, will end up trying to groom their child to play golf when they are young, as a way of using the kids to fulfill their dreams. Compensation.
Some adults will suffer from what most people term as "mid-life crisis". Here what these adults would do is that they will indulge in things they wished they had when they were much younger and when it was not within their grasps. Compensation.
Some people, when depressed, find solace in work. They force themselves to be so busy with work that they litrally do not mind burying themselves in work so they wont have time to think of depressing matters at their hands. They would hope that by doing this in the long run, they will get better and soon will be able to let all these problems slip away. Compensation.
Some adults who never grew up in a proper loving family, will alway hope that sometime in the future, when they have their own family, this will be rectified. They will believe that they should do their utmost best to make the children have a happy family and enjoyable childhood. Compensation.
Some people, whom are guilty of commiting a crime (serious or otherwise) may feel guilty and later in life decides to do more charitable work in order to compensate the horrible things they have done previously. Compensation.
In the end, we will always try to make a situation feel perfect to us. But we have to realise that we, as humans, are not perfect. It is acceptable to have flaws in our lives. Compensating maybe a way of motivation, but overcompensating is when u start to become disillusioned. Things go way out of hand, and then it will lead to extremist behaviour. The key is to use compensation sparingly.
Compensation. I have done and still practice some form of compensation. Have you?

Does the creative juice flow better when you are full of emotions?
My mind is blank. I really want to blog about something, but I have absolutely nothing to talk about. It has been World Cup all the way. I could talk about Wimbledon and the world record match of more than 10 hours (still yet to be concluded). But Idon't feel like writing about world news. No local news either.
I want to write something that has caught my mind, my imagination, my inspiration. Enough of World Cup predictions (I stopped cause i got the last 1 all wrong ;-p). Apparently, all these have gone dry on me for the past week. And just when i thought i could average a blogpost everyday of the month for the 1st time!
Well i guess, for me, i definitely feel more creative when I am full of emotions, whether happy or otherwise. I guess emotions trigger the creative side of me. What about you?
wait.... i thik i have an idea coming up!

Don't stop believin'
By far the best song I've heard from them throughout the entire season.
Everytime i hear this on radio, i'd turn up the volume and sing out loud ;-p
Its a great song to pick up the mood. And yes, we should never stop believing that there are great things in life instore for us. All you need is just a little patience and perseverance.
Dedicated to every1 who feels like all hope is lost and waking up everyday thinking about the same old thing is a torture.
Just push play on this song, and get moving!
Just a small town girl
Living in a lonely world
She took the midnight train going anywhere
Just a city boy
Born and raised in South Detroit
He took the midnight train going anywhere
A singer in a smoky room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on
Strangers, waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hiding somewhere in the night
Working hard to get my fill
Everybody wants a thrill
Paying anything to roll the dice
Just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on
Don't stop believing
Hold on to that feeling
Streetlight people

Unwell - Matchbox 20
I used to loop this song for hours when I was in college. Back then I was unwell, today, I'm still unwell.
But today's unwell is different from the unwell-ness of those days (LOL!)
The lyrics of the song still appeals to me, somehow I was able to relate to it thru the times. I guess that is what makes a song timeless. We can always relate to how it makes us feel, at any point in time of our lives =)
All day
Staring at the ceiling
Making friends with shadows on my wall
All night
Hearing voices telling me
That I should get some sleep
Because tomorrow might be good for something
Hold on
I'm feeling like I'm headed for a
Breakdown
I don't know why
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell
I know, right now you can't tell
But stay awhile and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little impaired
I know, right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be
Me
Talking to myself in public
Dodging glances on the train
I know
I know they've all been talking 'bout me
I can hear them whisper
And it makes me think there must be something wrong
With me
Out of all the hours thinking
Somehow
I've lost my mind
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell
I know, right now you can't tell
But stay awhile and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little impaired
I know right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be
I been talking in my sleep
Pretty soon they'll come to get me
Yeah, they're taking me away
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell
I know, right now you can't tell
But stay awhile and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me
I'm not crazy I'm just a little impaired
I know, right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be
Hey, how I used to be
How I used to be, yeah
Well I'm just a little unwell
How I used to be
How I used to be
Boodyboy, out!!!
p.s. I used to be more confident of my own abilities; not anymore. So yeah, i'm a little unwell. The 1st part to healing yourself is to admit you've got a problem right? ;-p

Inspirational stuff, so rare, yet miracles like these happen
Just had to share this amazing story. Proof that life can always surprise you. Proof that to every1's troubles, there is a saviour.
Lovers meet at suicide
A HEARTBROKEN man planning to throw himself off a bridge found love — with a girl about to jump to her death from the same spot.
Devastated Andriej Ivanov, 26, wanted to end it all when his fiancée died in a car crash the day before they were due to get married.
But when he arrived at the bridge — in Ufa, central Russia — he found Maria Petrova climbing over the railings.
Maria, 21, had been thrown out by her parents for falling pregnant and was seconds from throwing herself more than 100ft into the icy Belaya River when Andriej rescued her.
He said: "Something in my heart snapped and I couldn't let her do it no matter how broken my own heart was.
"I shouted, 'Stop' and ran over to her. She fell into my arms sobbing and I began crying too.
"We held each other and talked, and talked and talked. That night saved my life - and hers."
The couple talked into the night and agreed to help each other mend their broken hearts.
Now they plan to get married after telling their families about how they met.
Maria said: "He is my knight and my saviour.
"All that pain was worthwhile because it led me to my Andriej."
******
Sometimes, when you think about it, what are the chances of you meeting "The One" at the bridge where you both planned to end your lives? At the point when both of you think there is nothing left in life to look forward to. And the moment where these 2 people meet. And suddenly everything changes. Things become positive, sun shines upon them.
Nothing in life is certain. It maybe gloomy right now and no sign of sunshine anytime soon. But you never know what might be just around the corner. Some1 could just be your saviour =)
And that is what we all look for. The person who will save us from our loneliness...

Over-thinking, Under-doing
Too many times, this is true for all of us. We may have the best intentions and dreams, but sometimes, more often than not, our over-thinking limits what we do in the end. Sometimes, we end up talking ourselves out of it. Sometimes, we scare ourselves so much with our thoughts that we do not do things confidently or just doing it half-heartedly. Sometimes, we just do not even attempt it after talking ourselves out.
There are also a lot of elements involved. Sometimes we love to get advice from our friends. To their best of knowledge, they will always give us advice on specific things. Soemtime we maybe thinking things thru too emotionally and not rationally. They will sometimes provide us with rational solutions. It maybe right when it comes to issues that are non human related.
Anything human related is usually very emotional. After all, we do have feelings and if it involves another person, what we do or not do will impact on the other party's feelings. Sometimes thinking rationally may not be the best solution. And sometimes, listening to friends may not be the best answer you can find.
In the end, most of the time, we end up confusing ourselves, with too many thoughts and inputs. Thats the human dilemma, whether to act with our feelings / intuition or the rational mind.
I'm usually very rational when it comes to non human matters, but when it comes to interpersonal matters, I'm always overthinking. Don't think there is always the right answer. If i had the answer, I wouldn't be typing this at this time of day. Its obvious I still don't know what is right, despite feeling right ;-p
The fear of losing stops us from doing. If we don't do, then we won't lose.
But are we really going to be happy with not winning? I want to be a winner, not a person who doesn't want to lose (although i do hate losing).
I want to act, but I'm really too afraid to act. For I know how losing feels and i'm afraid to lose again.

FIFA World Cup 2010 : My Prediction for Day 8
I think from today onward I shall give 2 score predictions and 1 Asian style gambling prediction.
Tonights matches:
Group D: Germany vs Serbia
The Serbians looked like a team without ideas in ther previous game. Though they are good defensively, its hard to see them create a goal unless it is coming from a set piece. Germany however, are on a high after the 4-0 demolition of Australia in the previous game. However, the only fear is that their young team maybe suffering from overconfidence due to the good press they've been getting.
But then again, man for man, the Germans have the edge as well as the form. German to win this 2-0 / 2-1. Asian style would be Serbia +1 (means Serbians get 1 ball)
Group C: Slovenia vs United States
Both teams are relatively good and I think for the US team particularly, they will be on a high after managing a draw against England. I still think that England will top this group, and whoever who win this tie will be placed 2nd. I have a feeling that the Americans could nick this game, just a gut feeling. United States to win this 1-0 / 2-1. SLovenia + 1/2 (Half ball)
Group C: England vs Algeria
The Algerians are the poorest team in this group and I think all they could hope for at most is to park the bus and maybe get a lucky draw. The English will be looking to get the score right this time and show they mean business. I just hope that the players do no get too affected over Capello's selection policy.
England to win this by at least 2 goals. 2-0 / 3-0. Algeria 1 1/2 (1 and a half) / 2 (2 balls)
Lets hope I get all 3 right this time around =)

FIFA World Cup 2010 : My Prediction for Day 7
I, together with most pundit would have gotten the Spain vs Switzerland game wrong. It was a great upset.
Tonight's predictions;
Group A: France vs Mexico
Now i term this match a do or die match. The team who loses this game would almost have an uphill task to qualify seeing that Uruguay destroyed South Africa last night. French are still out of form, while the Mexicans are still playing attractive, good football.
I'd love to see Mexico win this game but in all likelihood, I think this match would be a draw. 1-1 for me (but the hopeful side in me would like to see Mexico win this 3-2)
Group B: Argentina vs South Korea
Both teams won their 1st game of the tournament and a second victory would guarantee qualification. I think the Argentinians would be on fire after dominating their earlier game and would like to set the record straight by piling up the goals. I think there is too much quality in Argentina for South Korea to handle.
Argentina to win this by at least 2 goals. 2-0
Group B: Greece vs Nigeria
I think Greece would end up bottom of this group. Otto Rehaggel should have retired after leading the Greeks to European glory 6 years ago. Now it looks like he won't be leaving in glory. Greeks are a bit too poor compared to the Nigerians.
I tip the Nigerians to nick this by a single goal margin. 1-0

Secrets - One Republic
Somethings are better left unknown, while for some people, things left unknown will never get better.
Keeping secrets is hard, but if u think revealing a secret may help; not revealing it would be selfish.
Hence, that is why secrets are revealed. To hope for peace of mind. Hopefully, bring peace of mind and happiness.
I need another story
Something to get off my chest
My life gets kinda boring
Need something that I can confess
Til' all my sleeves are stained red
From all the truth that I've said
Come by it honestly I swear
Thought you saw wink, no
I've been on the brink, so
Tell me what you want to hear
Something that were like those years
Sick of all the insincere
So I'm gonna give all my secrets away
This time, don't need another perfect line
Don't care if critics never jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets away
My god, amazing how we got this far
It's like we're chasing all those stars
Who's driving shiny big black cars
And everyday I see the news
All the problems that we could solve
And when a situation rises
Just write it into an album
Singing straight, too cold
I don't really like my flow, no, so
Tell me what you want to hear
Something that were like those years
Sick of all the insincere
So I'm gonna give all my secrets away
This time, don't need another perfect line
Don't care if critics never jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets away
Oh, got no reason, got not shame
Got no family I can blame
Just don't let me disappear
I'mma tell you everything
So tell me what you want to hear
Something that were like those years
Sick of all the insincere
So I'm gonna give all my secrets away
This time, don't need another perfect line
Don't care if critics never jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets away
So tell me what you want to hear
Something that were like those years
Sick of all the insincere
So I'm gonna give all my secrets away
This time, don't need another perfect line
Don't care if critics never jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets away
All my secrets away, All my secrets away

FIFA World Cup 2010 : My Prediction for Day 6
Here are my predictions for tonight’s matches.
Group H: Spain vs Switzerland
Both the Spanish and Swiss have their own injury problems. The Swiss captain, Alex Frei is out injured while for Spain, Torres might be unfit to start the game, as with Fabregas. But in this group, the Spanish are my favourties to top the group.
I tip Spain to win this by 2 goals.
Group H: Honduras vs Chile
Hondurans will make history as the 1st team with 3 brothers in their squad. The Palacios brothers are the only highlight this team has. They have been very unconvincing in the previous 5 friendlies, scoring only 2 goals. Chile on the other hand, has been impressive. Overall, man for man, I think Chile has a better team.
Chile to win this by 2 goals as well.
Group A: South Africa vs Uruguay
This is the 2nd game of Group A. South Africa played out of their skins to manage a draw the previous game and almost stole victory at the death when one of their shots hit the post. Uruguay however, played an uninspiring game against the French last time out. I’m not sure that will boost the morale of the players. I don’t see much into this game. If the SA team played like they did in the 1st game, we would see a draw again.
But I still think Uruguay has a stronger team, and as such should be able to nick this game. Win by 1 goal margin.

Sometimes when we touch - Olivia Ong
Here I am using Olivia Ong’s version as I love her voice.
I was listening to my music at work when this song came on. And it struck a chord. Actually, just about any emo song will always strike a chord with me. Always have been the jiwang guy
You ask me if I love you
And I choke on my reply
I'd rather hurt you honestly
Than mislead you with a lie
And who am I to judge you
On what you say or do?
I'm only just beginning to see the real you
And sometimes when we touch
The honesty's too much
And I have to close my eyes and hide
I wanna hold you til I die
Til we both break down and cry
I wanna hold you till the fear in me subsides
Romance and all its strategy
Leaves me battling with my pride
But through the insecurity
Some tenderness survives
I'm just another writer
Still trapped within my truth
A hesitant prize fighter
Still trapped within my youth
And sometimes when we touch
The honesty's too much
And I have to close my eyes and hide
I wanna hold you til I die
Til we both break down and cry
I wanna hold you till the fear in me subsides
At times I'd like to break you
And drive you to your knees
At times I'd like to break through
And hold you endlessly
At times I understand you
And I know how hard you've tried
I've watched while love commands you
And I've watched love pass you by
At times I think we're drifters
Still searching for a friend
A brother or a sister
But then the passion flares again
And sometimes when we touch
The honesty's too much
And I have to close my eyes and hide
I wanna hold you til I die
Til we both break down and cry
I wanna hold you till the fear in me subsides
And I suddenly i get what the song is trying to say…
Well my own interpretation lah ;-p

Dream a little dream of me
Sunday night I had a dream that I was on a road trip with some friends and my father. It was some forest reserve and we were inside a big SUV. We went to a waterfall to have a great time splashing about in the forest. This particular waterfall was supposedly located near my father’s hometown in Pahang.
Then it was about time to leave and we had to climb up as the car was located above the waterfall. We all climbed up safely and then for some reason which I can’t remember, my father walked towards the edge of the waterfall and fell off the cliff. We all rushed to the edge of the fall, peering down to see where he was.
I saw him at the bottom of the fall, so we rushed down again. Strange thing was, it was a pretty high fall, and although he was lifeless, the body looked perfectly alright (cant remember whether he died or just fainted lah). We quickly carried him up the trail and back to our SUV.
We proceeded to drive out of the jungle and were back on the trunk road when suddenly the car just died. We went out to check on the car, but we were unsure why it died off.
We then decided to walk off to look help, maybe finding the nearest place where we could make a phone call. Left my father’s unconscious / lifeless body in the car while we walked together.
While we were walking down the long stretch of road flanked by rubber plantations, my alarm rang. And I woke up, feeling dumbfounded. Strange thing was that throught that whole dream, I was checking myself to see if it was a dream. Playing at the falls felt so real, I could hear the water gush down. The jungle and rubber plantation sounded so alive. The only thing was my lack of feelings. I was devoid of emotion. I didn’t know if I was happy at the falls. Nor did I feel anything like worry, or sad when something happened to my father. It was like I was just a robot in this dream.
Its just weird cause I was so emotionally detached in this dream despite everything feeling so real.
***********
My second dream was a totally different experience. While it also felt very real, this was very emotional for me. Here, I was surfing on a few pages of my friends on FB when I noticed something they all had in common.
On their wall was a posting of my ex, who had started a photography business. She was doing really well and seemed happy with her success (I wasn’t in her friends list so I couldn’t see her profile). We have plenty of friends in common so I could see how well she was doing.
I was feeling very proud that she had managed to make her dream come true, knowing she was extremely into photography.
Next moment I was at the airport with another friend of mine and I could see posters of her at the airport, like some superstar photographer. Then at that moment I saw her in the departure hall. She talked to my friend (another common friend we had) when I left for the loo.
When I was approaching both of them, wanting to say hi and congratulate her, she saw that I was coming and bade my friend farewell. So I walked over and talked to my friend, wondering why she avoided me.
After sending my friend off, as I was walking back thru the terminal, I almost bumped into her. She saw me and quickly turned away, walking away from her group of friends that were waiting for her. I picked up my pace and walked right up beside her and said hi.
She looked around to see if any1 was looking and said hi. I said I was really happy for her achievements but wondered why she looked like she was avoiding me. She just mentioned to me coolly that she doesn’t any1 to see that we were together. I asked her if she was ashamed to be seen with me. She just kept quiet and told me that I should not ever tell any1 I know her. She wished me goodbye and farewell and quickly walked off to her group of friends. She then said goodbye to them and disappeared into the departure hall.
It was then I woke up in the middle of the night. It was about 4 something 5am. I just sat up stared at wall and wondered, where did it all go wrong? I’m also thinking what I have done that even I had to dream about it. I thought that I would have moved on by now, but apparently this dream still kind of affected me. I mean, I won’t deny we used to be together, no matter whether it ended well or not.
And even if I have moved on she still was part of what made me who I am today. For that I’m glad for the times we had. But still, this dream was bugging me the whole day. The fact that I must have been so terrible that she had to hide her past with me.
I’m actually more bothered about the fact that I must be really a terrible person that any1 doesn’t want to associate themselves with me. Not just her, but every1 else. Wasted my entire day thinking how that is possible. Do I have the “Ignorant American idol” syndrome? The syndrome where u think you are good because your friends and family tell you all the time you are good. But in reality, you totally suck and by the time you find out, its gonna be a real “malu” case for you.
Its strange that I used to be full of confidence about 3 years ago. Maybe up to the point of being obnoxiously confident about myself and my abilities. These few years’ experiences have not only humbled me, but to a certain extent, I’m not even confident of myself anymore. I second guess myself all the time. I have a lack of confidence. Maybe all these years of thinking how good of a person I am has failed me. And to realize that you are not good enough hurts. And I am now over-compensate. I’m bending my back ever since I started working. I’ve been doing lots of listening, trying to understand, help myself and help others. But still as of today, I don’t feel like king of the world.
Today, I feel like the guy who just realized he’s not king of the world, and staring up at the person on the winner’s podium.

FIFA World Cup 2010 : My Prediction for Day 5
The Dutch disappointed despite winning by 2 goals. The match was a bore despite both being attacking minded teams.
Here are my prediction for tonight’s matches.
Group F: Slovenia vs New Zealand
A game to decide who will end up at the bottom of the group. Italy and Paraguay are favourites to qualify, leaving these 2 to fight for face-saving rights.
I’d tip Slovenians to win this game 2-0 partly because I think the Kiwis do not have the sufficient strength in depth for the World Cup. The only reason they are here is because Australia left Oceania region to compete under the Asian banner.
Group G: Brazil vs North Korea (DPRK)
North Koerans are an unknown side in this tournament. All their players play inside the country. And the few glimpses have been in friendlies. They are a very very hardworking side, but against Brazil, it will be difficult.
I tip Brazil to win this by either 3 or 4 goals. They have the teamwork and firepower. My only reservation is whether coach Dunga will allow his team to go all out attacking when they have control of the game.
Group G: Portugal vs Cote D’Ivoire
The Ivorians are still the strongest African team in my opinion, even without injured Drogba. But without him, their task is definitely much tougher. Another hardworking team here with lots of stamina. Portugal have not played well in previous friendlies and their performances have not been encouraging at all. Ronaldo will be out to prove a point that this tournament is not the Lionel Messi show. I think both these teams are pretty evenly matched.
I think its is highly likely that this match would be a score draw, 1-1, 2-2 wont surprise me. However, I do think a moment of brilliance for Ronaldo will allow Portugal to sneak this as well.

FIFA World Cup 2010 : My Prediction for Day 4
Group E: Netherlands vs Denmark
2 relatively strong countries from the European continent face off. The Dutch team are one of my tips for the title, but unfortunately they are in the same half as Brazil and Spain. In this group however, I think its pretty straight forward. Netherland looks like they have the best team in the group on paper. And based on the results of thier previous friendlies, I think the Dutch are capable of winning by 2 or 3 goals tonight.
Group E: Japan vs Cameroon
Cameroon is also another strong African team, led by Samuel Eto'o. The Japanese team, however hardworking they maybe have not fared well in recent friendlies. They have also never won a World Cup game away from home.
Cameroon to win by 1 or 2 goals.
Group F: Italy vs Paraguay
The Italians are my favourite team in the tournament. Paraguayans are playing very attractive football with the right results at the moment while the Italins have stuttered and stumbled. However, I think italy's squad may still have the advantage, despite having a lot of old player from the previous World Cup. Its either a 1-1 draw or a narrow victory for the Italians.
So far based on 2 days of predictions I've gotten 2/3 right (may not be the score but the winning team). I think thats still not too bad, after all, group stages are easy to predict.

Married Life - Carl & Ellie by Michael Giacchino
This is a 4 minute clip from Disney's UP. A simple scene with any dialogue, depicting the married life of Carl & Ellie.
I think it is definitely the most meaningful 4 minutes of any movie i have ever watched so far.
It just shows us the ups and downs on a simple married couple and within that 4 minutes, we ride along their emotional highs and lows. We become connected to their story, and the story seems simple and reflective enough of our daily lives.
I've watched this movie at least 3-4 times now and I still love it a lot. The undying love of Carl, to fulfill the dreams of his wife Ellie, is commendable and downright exemplery. How I wish most married couple's lives are like that. Most of the time, we take for granted our partners and disputes arise over the most trivial of matters.
Oh well, i think its enough emo stuff from me today (though I really hope to find some1 and lead a life that is something like what Carl and Ellie has).
Enjoy the clip =)

FIFA World Cup 2010 : My Prediction for Day 3
A short post this time around for my predictions due to lack of time, so i won't be able top elaborate on why I predict the scores.
Group C: Algeria vs Slovenia
I think this match is too close to call. Both also weak teams, but I still believe Slovenia has a little edge in terms of quality. Narrow win to Slovenia or a score draw.
Group D: Serbia vs Ghana
Ghanaians are just about the strongest African team other than Ivory Coast. The Serbian defence, on th other hand is very strong. I see a draw for this match, if not then Serbia might steal victory from a set piece.
Group D: Germany vs Australia
Good news for Aussies is that Tim Cahill and Harry Kewell are fit to start the game tonight. Germany have lost their captain in Michael Ballack, but i think are still too strong for Australia. The best result Australia can hope for is a draw here. Germans to win this 2-0 or 2-1.

FIFA World Cup 2010 : My Prediction for Day 2
Group B: South Korea vs Greece
South Korea and Greece both have a fully fit squad. In terms of rankings, it doesnt differ much either due to the fact that they dont have much international competitions to enter. However, I do have a feeling (yes its a gut feeling) that being Asia power houses, they are a team with more confidence than Greece. Greece didn't do well at all in the previous Euro Championships while South Korea usually dominate the Asian teams they play against. South Korea have also peformed better than the Greeks in previous friendly matches (I kinda base my predictions on their last few friendly matches)
All other things being equal, I would give the edge to Korea in this match. Narrow margin of victory maybe 1-0, 2-1 or a draw if the Greeks can hold off the Koreans.
Group B: Argentina vs Nigeria
On paper, this looks like an easy game for the Argies (one of the favourites for the title). I would agree, if Argentina play to their strength. No doubt that they have performed well in recent friendlies against weak opposition. Well Nigerians are strong as a collective unit, I think the Argies have too much in them and should be able to overpower their African opposition tonight.
My only reservation is with Argentina's coach, Maradona. While he maybe the 2nd most famous player in the world (behind Pele, some would disagree with me), I don't think he has enough experience to manage his country. Granted, if things do go well and he gets his tactics right; there is no doubt Argentina are strong favourites to reach the Final.
My prediction would be for Argentina to win by 2 goals. 3 goals, if Nigeria go all out attacking to try and salvage the game. With Messi, Milito and Tevez on form, there will definitely be goals in this team.
Group C: England vs United States
This should be a close match to follow as most of us Malaysians follow the Premier League closely. We know the England players very well and how they play. However, they have not done well in recent friendlies. United States are no better, but they have a very hardworking team. But still, man for man, the English should have enough advantage over the Americans.
But how well England play would depend on their formation. While Fabio Capello favours the 4-4-2 formation, I would love to see England play 4-5-1 if they truly want to make full use of Wayne Rooney. Wayne plays his best this year for Man Utd this year when they played 4-5-1.
With Gerrard in the support role (like how he plays with Torres in Liverpool), and Lampard in his usual attacking role for Chelsea (Chelsea plays in a 4-5-1 / 4-3-3 formation), I think England should do well.
England to win this game by 2 goals.
I will try to do this everyday, if possible and see if my predictions turn out right ;-p

FIFA World Cup 2010, South Africa: My favourites
Yes, tonight is the night the quest for the most prized trophy in world football begins. This is the stage where dreams are made. Kids playing football on the street dream of this their whole life.
The last edition of the World Cup was won by Italy (also my favourite team since i was in secondary school). Who will win the Jules Rimet trophy this time around?
My top two picks are Spain and Brazil.
Spain have been the form team ever since they won Euro 2008. And I see that trend continuing. The team is roughly about the same as the one that won Euro 2008. They play with the same style and have the same manager. THey have the teamwork and understanding. They have also performed well in recent friendlies.
Brazil is my 2nd choice to win, because, well, they are Brazil. However, this brazil team isn't like previous Brazillian teams. This team wins it ugly, and if you are lucky, sometimes beautifully. Coached by Dunga, a world cup winning captain himself; the team seems to be moulded in the same way he played (He was a defensive midfielder). They've got a good team all round and Brazillian players always seem to be able to work well together eventhough most of them are based in different nations.
My 3rd choice, however, would be the Dutch. They've been playing really well and have some really good players with the squad this time around. With Bert van marwick as coach I think the team is a cohesive unit. They qualified in style and in recent friendlies, played with style as well.
However, all my top 3 picks play on the same side of the draw. Which would mean that there wont be a dream final for me of Brazil vs Spain. But what it means is that the team that wins the semi finals on this side of the draw will be my favourtie to take the title.
What's your pick?

You are not just another person
None of us are "just another person".
We are also never every1's best friend and neither are we every1's enemy. In fact, even criminals have friends and family who love and care about them. We are who we are. But there are also time we become the person we are in different situations. Not all criminals have that bad ass attitude 24/7. Sometimes its just their way of making a living. Sometimes it is how they perceive the way they should lead their life (twisted or evil as they may be).
But I'm not here to talk about criminal psychology. Rather the thing that is at the top of my mind is how people's behaviour or needs/wants are triggered when they meet different people.
Lets just say in a typical social circle that we have (maybe big or small doesnt matter), we have normal acquaintaces, friends, close friends / best friends as well as our boyfriend and girlfriends. When we meet our acquaintances or friends, we have something in common which we agree upon or they offer something to us that allows us to enjoy their company. And that is how you see them, as friends. Some may mean nothing more to you than others.
Next you have very close friends, friends that you share a lot more in common with. You even share your life stories with them, your ups and downs and everything else. However, there are still certain wants and situations that they may dream of, which you do not fulfill their criteria. As much as they are great in all sorts of ways, there is just still something that doesnt ignite that spark.
I guess that spark is the spark where men suddenly realise its the end of their bachelorhood. When they meet some1 who will make them all mushy and yes, that feeling that they are ready for a lifelong commitment (of course, some nvr have that feeling ;-p). For women, maybe its the realisation that their childhood dream of a dream wedding will come true. Or the fact that they have found the person who just has "The One" factor.
The spark is never apparent when you are with your friends nor close friends. Some may always be on the lookout for this spark (including yours truly) while some may have them buried deep inside.
Watching 500 Days of Summer (watched it a couple of times already) allowed me to understand this "spark" factor better. In this movie, A is a guy who thinks he found the girl of his life when he meets B, a charming pretty girl. They hit it off right away, and he feels like she has the spark. He feels like she's the girl that he has been waiting for all his life.
However, through the ups and downs of their time together, it seems that to B, A doesnt have that spark, no matter how charming he was. A always tried his best to show her that he was "the one" for her cause in his eyes, he has found the spark in her. In the end thru much heartbreak, they broke off with B telling A that she was never the marryking kind.
Fast forward a few years later, their paths crossed, and while A is still searching for "the one", B has gotten married. A asked B how could she marry another guy when she told him that she wasnt the marrying kind. B mentioned that in fact, she had found her "spark" when she bumped into her current husband. B told A that A was right all along. She would get married someday, but she just didnt see it in him.
****
I guess this is true in real life. Sometimes things dont work out and you always wonder why or how it went wrong. Sometimes, its 2 really great persons who got together but somehow, things never quite worked out. While it is always easy to point fingers, sometimes it could just be that either 1 of them doesnt see the "spark" in the other. Sometimes we may try too hard, in the end trying to shift blames to every1. YOu may feel that everything felt so right, so how can it ever be wrong? However, only you feel that way.
The spark. THat feeling that u seem to know you've found the right person. Its a very good feeling to have, but remember that it is a 2 way relationship. if the other party doesnt see the spark in you, no matter how much you want it, it won't work out. And without doubt, the hurt that comes with it, is of course, very painful.
Soemtimes, it makes one wonder if they should ever try and find that spark again, for the happiness it brings is immense. However, they are those who shy away for fear of being hurt again.
Oh well, its been a very long post. Not sure if many read this far... hehehe.
But its great that i've penned this, cause this topic has been in my head for a few days now.

Its not about...
its not about whats the perfrect date, its who you date.
its not about the ideal characteristics, its the person.
its not about the ideal honeymoon spot, its the person.
its not the perfect lifestyle, its the person.
*****
It's strange how sometimes we get to pre-occupied with how our dream life would be like. We would make a lot of choices in this life based on the ideals or rules we have set for ourselves. I guess I'm guilty on that charge. I've always been chasing a dream. But dreams are soemthing u cannot grasp with your hands. But having a hand to hold, now thats something real you can feel.
I've always had this ideal lifestyle that I would like in the future. With my future wife, and family and etc. Then I'd filter out the people I meet based on whether i think they'd fit into my future scenarios. We shouldnt be trying to fit a person into the picture.
In fact, I guess what we all could use is just the right person. For the right person would make all those dream scenarios we have seem unimportant.
Its not about the dream wedding. Dream wedding is only temporary.
Its about the dream girl. The girl that makes everyday seem like a dream. A dream come true.

Elvis Presley - Can't Help Falling in Love
*******************
Man stands in front of the mirror in his room. His heart beats a thousand times per second. His mind is going thru a thousand situations a second. His palms start to become sweaty.
How should he say it? Is this the right time to say it? What would be her reaction? How will things work out? What if he doesn't say it? Will he rue this missed the opportunity in the future?
He decides, "Enough of thinking and wondering! I must take things into my own hands. Make it mine (ala Jason Mraz's song ;-p). He leaves his place.
He arrives at her place. Knocks on the door confident, pumped up. From the other side of the door, he hears her faint voice. Asks him to wait awhile. Its those few seconds, suddenly his heart rate shoots up the roof.
The door opens. There she is, dressed casually; the most beautiful woman he has seen. She smiles at him, and asks him, "Whats up?"
He stands there, looking like a deer caught in headlights. His mind empty, he's at a loss for words. His mouth opens, and the 1st thing he says is "Errr..."
"I think I left something with you earlier didn't I? Sorry to trouble you at this time of night."
She smiles and asks him to wait while she gets his thing and passes it back to him. "Is that all?"
"Yeah", he says. "Thanks and get a good night's rest."
She bids him a goodnight and farewell, and proceeds to close the door.
He stands there, feeling dumb. Kicking himself "What the heck is wrong with you??" he screams in his head. "OK, lets try this again". He runs through the imaginary situation in his head again. He practices what he wants to say, in front of her door. Satisfied with the practice, he thinks to himself, "Lets do it for real now. No turning back. If she's the 1 you want, she should know about it. It will be selfish of you not to let her know."
He lifts his hand up, to knock the door. He gets more and more nervous, then knocks on the door, calls out her name (His voice, was almost choked as he feels like the words are balled up at his throat. Calling out her name though, was just about as beautiful as he could imagine it in his head).
She opens the door and asks, "Anything?"
There he stands. Just a guy, who likes a girl. So simple, yet for a person who can speak so comfortably with her all the time, he's loss for words. He goes thru the imaginary practice session he had in his head again.
"Is it okay if I come awhile? It's late and we've had a long day out, so I won't take too much of your time."
"Sure thing. Why do you have to look so serious lah? Come in lah"
He steps inside and she closes the door behind her.

Wise men say only fools rush in
But I can't help falling in love with you
Shall I stay
Would it be a sin
If I can't help falling in love with you
Like a river flows surely to the sea
Darling so it goes
Some things are meant to be
Take my hand, take my whole life too
For I can't help falling in love with you
Like a river flows surely to the sea
Darling so it goes
Some things are meant to be
Take my hand, take my whole life too
For I can't help falling in love with you
For I can't help falling in love with you

Me
Main Entry: me
Pronunciation: \ˈmē\
Function: pronoun
Definition:
1. is a simple guy, looking for his place in this wonderful world.
2. doesn't want much in his life. Infinite/obscene amounts money is always a bonus but not a requirement.
3. would love to be very rich, open my own sport complex for my local community and sponsor budding atheletes. Would also love to have my own financial planning practice where I can help the average Joe realise their financial goals (something akin to what AKPK is doing but on a more modest scale).
4. would love to be happily married to a woman I consider my best friend, if our paths do ever cross. Nothing better than having a best friend with you for the rest of your life =)
5. always wanted to play football professionally since I was a kid, but the lack of ability limited my opportunities. Now I just wished my parents sent me to golf school when I was young.
6. is never keen on "trying out" relationships. Love cannot be tried out. I cannot possibly love so many ppl in my life. Its strange how life makes things so contradictory.
7. is my favourite number, worn by the Man Utd great, Eric Cantona. Also my birthdate.
8. always loves to be the solution provider. If you have a need/ need help/ have a request, I will try my best to help you out with it. My motto: Don't worry, leave it to me and I'll take care of everything.
9. In hindsight, I realised I can't do this for every1 I know. In the end, I can't help that many people and I've also learnt that I cannot expect anything in return (much as I wish to think that in this world, if you do something good, it will come back to you).
10. is always very optimistic and forward thinking. But sometimes (most of the time), I get ahead of myself and start dreaming. In the end, I end up very disappointed if things don't work out.
11. always wondered if love is really important in a long term relationship/marriage. I only know that it is very important in the start, but in the end, its always a lot of other things needed to keep it going. Which makes me wonder, it a lot of other things are important in the long run, shouldn't we look for those in a person rather than love?
12. always thinks too much. Over-analysing makes me neurotic and think of things that will only upset me further.
13. is working to make a living, hopefully a better than average living ;-)
14. always has problems opening up to people he is close to. There are however, a few people whom he has that connection with, and its not easy to find. I guess thats what we crave for in life. To find that special connection.
15. has always wished it was easier finding some1 to settle down with. Life nowadays has made it difficult with so many requirements. In the earlier days, you would just get into an arranged marriage and that would be it. Problem solved. Just as long as you 2 understand that you both must stay dedicated to each other, then it's easy
:-p
16. All I want is to just go home everyday to the person I would love to spend the rest of my life with, cuddle up at home for movies on weekends, or just take an impromptu drive out on a sunny day.
Boodyboy, out!!

I still wished I hadn't opened my mouth because I knew the timing was wrong but in the end, i think my selfish self wanted you sooner rather than later. I'm sorry if from now onwards you are less receptive towards me. I somehow now regret spilling out my feelings too soon.
20. and your smile. I look at the pictures with your smile in it, and I can honestly say, it could bring me to tears. For its one of the most beatiful sights I have ever laid my eyes on.
